Our Different Approach

Our Methodology

We reverse-engineer evaluator inference patterns, diagnose your specific presentation gaps, provide structured capability development and presentation, and assist in your positioning to show the signals evaluators use to assess performance potential.

PHASE 1: DIAGNOSTIC

We analyze your current presentation — resume, LinkedIn, interview response patterns, performance documentation—against the evaluator inference patterns typical of your target role level. And we make sure that they are compatible with your career plan and search strategy.

The diagnostic identifies:

  • Signal gaps: Capabilities you possess but don't demonstrate effectively
  • Framework gaps: Areas where you lack the structured approaches evaluators expect
  • Evidence gaps: Performance documentation that doesn't surface performance potential
  • Positioning gaps: Misalignment between how you present yourself and what evaluators infer from that presentation

It's a systematic analysis of the gap between your capabilities and what evaluators perceive from your current presentation patterns.

PHASE 2: DEVELOPMENT

What We're Developing

We're not developing new capabilities from scratch. We're providing structured frameworks for capabilities you already apply informally or intuitively—frameworks that allow you to:
  • Apply those capabilities more systematically
  • Generate evidence of those capabilities within your current role
  • Articulate those capabilities in interviews and positioning materials

Most technically strong professionals already make strategic decisions, influence stakeholders, and drive performance outcomes. But they do so without structured frameworks, which means:
  • They can't demonstrate the capability reliably in new contexts
  • They can't articulate their approach in interviews
  • They can't document their judgment patterns for evaluators

Development work provides the frameworks that make implicit capabilities explicit and demonstrable.

PHASE 3: POSITIONING

What Strategic Positioning Actually Means

Positioning isn't about making you look better than you are. It's about adapting and aligning your materials so evaluators can accurately infer the capabilities you possess but currently don't demonstrate effectively.

Most professionals structure their positioning around:
  • What they're proud of
  • What seems most impressive
  • What job descriptions emphasize
  • What their peers emphasize

Evaluators need to infer:
  • Your decision-making frameworks
  • Your strategic judgment patterns
  • Your influence capabilities
  • Your potential performance impact
  • Your thinking capabilities
  • Your adaptability and agility

The gap between these creates positioning that looks impressive to you but doesn't generate the inferences evaluators need to select you for roles.
